This page is about A1 Blogs: who we are, what we cover and the standards we hold ourselves to.
A1 Blogs is an independent digital news publication. We cover world affairs, politics, business, technology, science, health, sports, entertainment and lifestyle, and we publish opinion from writers who argue their case in the open.
What we do
Our reporting has three jobs: tell you what happened, explain why it matters, and keep fact separate from comment. News stories report what we can verify. Explainers give you the background. Opinion pieces are clearly labelled and carry the writer’s name.
Independence
Editorial decisions at A1 Blogs are made by our editors. Advertisers and partners have no say in what we cover or how we cover it, and any sponsored content is clearly labelled as sponsored.
How we work
We check facts before we publish, name our sources wherever we can, and correct mistakes openly. Our Editorial Policy sets out the standards we follow, including how to ask for a correction.
Get in touch
Story tips, corrections, partnership enquiries and feedback are all welcome. Use our contact page or email info@a1blogs.com.

Who runs A1 Blogs
A1 Blogs was founded by Asif Jamal, who serves as its editor. He writes and edits much of our coverage and is responsible for what we publish. You can read his work on his author page.
What we cover
Our main sections are Pakistan Guides, Study Abroad, Immigration, Freelancing, Travel and the Rich List, alongside Finance, Real Estate, AI Tools and an Urdu section. Our earlier news and explainer sections, from World and Politics to Sports and Opinion, remain available under More in the menu.
We write mainly for readers in Pakistan and for Pakistanis planning to study, work or travel abroad: income tax and savings rates, bills and government fees, property checks in Islamabad, scholarships and student visas, work visa routes, freelancing payments and travel on a Pakistani passport.
Why readers can trust us
Every article carries a date and a byline. We link to our sources, including government agencies, research institutions and established news organizations, so you can check the facts for yourself. Health articles are written as general information and point readers to qualified professionals.
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. If you spot an error, please contact us and tell us which article it is in.
