Muhammad Ali Tabba net worth in 2026
Published estimates put the personal and family wealth of Muhammad Ali Tabba at around $1.5 billion or more. Joining the Yunus Brothers Group
Tabba joined the family’s Yunus Brothers Group in 1991. The group had grown from textile trading and manufacturing, and Yunus Textile Mills remains one of Pakistan’s major home-textile exporters. He became chief executive of Lucky Cement in 2005 and has led its expansion since.
Lucky Cement and beyond
Under his leadership Lucky Cement became one of Pakistan’s biggest cement producers and exporters, with plants in Pezu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and near Karachi, and investments in cement projects abroad. From that base, the group moved into other industries:
- Lucky Core Industries: the former ICI Pakistan, bought by Lucky Cement in 2012, making polyester, soda ash, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and animal health products
- Lucky Motor Corporation: assembling and selling Kia and Peugeot cars in Pakistan
- Lucky Electric Power: a large power plant at Port Qasim supplying the national grid
- Yunus Textile Mills: home textiles for export
- National Resources Limited: a mining venture in the Chagai district of Balochistan
The group has also invested in real estate and renewable energy.
The PIA bid
When the government auctioned 75% of PIA on 23 December 2025, a consortium led by Lucky Cement, with Hub Power Holdings, Kohat Cement and Metro Ventures, bid Rs134 billion. It lost narrowly to the Arif Habib-led consortium, which bid Rs135 billion. Read the winner’s story in our profile of Arif Habib.
Business leadership
Tabba chairs the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association and has previously chaired the Pakistan Business Council and the Pakistan Textile Council. He is one of the business leaders most often consulted on industrial policy, energy prices and exports.
Philanthropy
As chairman of the Aziz Tabba Foundation, he oversees work in health, education, housing and microfinance. The foundation set up the Tabba Heart Institute and the Tabba Kidney Institute in Karachi, which treat thousands of patients each year.

How the A1 Rich List estimates net worth
We use Forbes’ real-time figure where Forbes tracks a person. For everyone else we use the most widely cited published estimate, from sources such as Wikipedia’s list of Pakistanis by net worth, the Sunday Times Rich List and Pakistani business publications, and we name the source on each profile. Where reports give a range, we rank on the midpoint. Private companies are hard to value, so treat every estimate as a guide rather than an exact figure.
